SIAMS

SIAMS is the Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools (SIAMS) under Section 48 of the Education Act 2005. As a Church of England school we are subject to these inspections.

SIAMS focus on the impact that the Christian vision of the church school has on the children and young people who attend it.

OUR VISION

  • Inspire a strong sense of faith and commitment to Christian & British values
Inspire a love of learning so children can achieve their potential
  • Our vision is rooted in theology and taken from Isaiah 40:31, “But those who hope in the Lord shall renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles, they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.”

In the successful and very positive SIAMS inspection in July 2024, “The inspection findings indicate that St. Margaret’s Church of England Junior School is living up to its foundation as a Church school.”

“Led by the vision, the dedicated leadership team have created a culture where pupils and adults
flourish together. Pupils and staff are treasured and encouraged to ‘soar on wings like eagles’.”

The report shows that we are a very caring church school with many strengths. Please click on the link below to read the fantastic feedback given by the inspector who was very impressed with all areas of our Christian distinctiveness.
