Pupil Premium was introduced by the Government to provide additional funding support to schools, to help them narrow the national attainment gap between pupils from disadvantaged backgrounds and their peers.
Research shows that setting high expectations for all children is the most effective way of ensuring everyone reaches their potential. We carefully plan how to invest these additional funds to ensure that barriers to learning and achievement are removed or negated for all of our children.
In addition, individual needs are identified and amended provision is put in place to support particular children or groups.
