Sporting Success

Cross Country

Another successful year for the boys and girls representing the school.

Cross Country

FootballThe football team successfully defended their league title. They played over several nights at Chesterton and the team finished the season unbeaten.

County Football Final

A huge well done to the boys who played superbly at St George's Park on Wednesday 23rd November. Throughout the morning, in very cold conditions, the boys represented our school fantastically producing some excellent football

They won all four group games and therefore reached the final; the match was level after normal time so the game went straight to penalties. Unfortunately, they boys lost narrowly on penalties after a heroic effort.

Cross Country

On Wednesday 24th May, Year 3 and 4 competed in the Newcastle schools cross country competition.

We had some fantastic individual performances including Ruby and Thea who came 1st and 2nd out of over 50 runners.

Year 3 boys and girls both came 1st and the Year 4 girls came 2nd. This means all 3 teams progressed to the finals at Keele in June.

Our children did fantastically well:

Year 6 boys were 1st and Year 4 girls came 2nd. Well done to everyone!
